The people behind ArtMatch.

At ArtMatch we do two things. We hand-pick artists we love from all over the world and bring you their most beautiful work in one curated selection. And we are curators and art advisors at your call: when you have a space that wants life, we learn who you are and what it needs, and we find it for you.

The person behind it

A life spent inside other people’s worlds.

I was twelve when I got my own laptop. I’d sit on the sofa with it on my lap, and after a couple of hours it would start overheating until it burned my legs. I stayed anyway. Inside that machine were worlds, and inside the worlds were people.

I played games all night and joined my first online community. Strangers from everywhere, playing together at three in the morning. That was when I learned that even when I didn’t quite fit the reality I was born into, there were other worlds where I could find myself, and my people.

At thirteen I ran my first little business from a school playground, selling in-game currency the other kids couldn’t buy on their own. I had to pitch my hardworking single mom for approval first. She said yes. I have been building things ever since.

School was harder. Spanish-Canadian with a French accent, I grew up as an outsider, and stability was my challenge. Life taught me to always be alert. Home sometimes wasn’t safe, for many reasons, and as a kid you learn to read rooms and people very carefully, because your survival depends on it. So I built my own oasis in digital worlds and in books. Eventually that way of reading people stopped being a defense and became a way of loving them.

After high school I kept trying things and not sticking to them. I dropped out more than once, and I was honestly a terrible student. So I went looking for lives to live instead. I became an aircraft mechanic and a paratrooper in the Air Force. I still read every single night, devouring at least two books a week, because I still didn’t belong in real life the way I did in my digital and imaginary realms. After the passing of many of my family, I needed a change. I left the Air Force and became an airline pilot.

Along the way came communities that formed around games and art and code, where lifelong friends arrived without borders or permission. Ventures that worked and ventures that taught me. I traveled the world and threw myself into finding meaning.

These days I am studying International Relations at Cambridge. It is my first proper degree. Learning never stops.

Somewhere in all those lives, one thing kept compounding: meeting someone and actually feeling who they are. What moves them. What they are quietly hungry for. It is the same way I look at art. A work of art is a person externalized, and matching the two is empathy with a method.

That is what I do here. I have never done anything that feels more like me.

What we stand for

A person, not an algorithm

A real curator looks at every work that enters ArtMatch and makes every pick by hand, the way a friend who knows you would. When you want to talk it over, you talk to a human being, not a form. A machine can find what looks like you. Only a person can find what feels like you.

Meet the curator

Craft you can feel

Museum giclée on thick Hahnemühle cotton paper, with pigment inks that hold their color for a lifetime. The texture carries the artist's grain, and every piece is checked by hand before it ships. Art should not arrive feeling like a poster. It should feel like something a person made, because it is.

Our mission

At ArtMatch our mission is to help you find artists you love, that you can connect with and make you feel that the world is a better place now that you met their work. We strive to find art that reminds you who you are and who you want to become, and for that we collaborate with artists we love ourselves.

Meet the artists

The artists

Made by people you can meet.

The heart of ArtMatch is work from living artists we know by name. Every piece links to the person who made it, their story, and the rest of their studio. When you collect, a real artist gets paid.

Where this is going

The world we envision.

A curated space that grows into a community of people who choose beauty on purpose. This is the map.

  • Public spacesArt out of the vaults and into streets, cafes and lobbies, where a whole city walks past it.
  • ArtistsA platform where the living artists we love share their work with the entire world.
  • InstitutionsCollaborations with galleries and museums that open the door instead of guarding it.
  • CollectorsA new generation that starts collecting because something finally felt like them.
  • A home of our ownA physical place of culture where the ArtMatch community gathers. Not just for art but for growth, for humanity, and for leaving the world more beautiful than we found it.
